Dude of the Week: Curt Cignetti

The College Football playoffs have been a whirlwind of a time so far. 3/4 top teams lost coming off bye weeks. Ole Miss and Miami pull off unbelievable upsets and Indiana steam rolls Alabama. Behind the Hoosiers success is one stone cold killer, Curt Cignetti. This weeks Dude of the Week is none other than the Marlboro man himself. Cignetti is 24-2 in two years at Indiana and leading Indiana to a possible National Championship. Cignetti takes on former coworker in Dan Lanning this weekend on Friday to see who goes to the National Championship. A rematch of the earlier matchup which ended up in an Indiana win.

Thrown for a Loop

Mikey Owens / NFL
On Sunday night the Steelers and Ravens faced off in maybe the best game of the year. Now AFC North games are almost always guaranteed to be ugly at points and this game was just that. We had Perc Rodgers against Poopy Pants Jackson at helm for each team. This game was pretty boring up until the 4th quarter. Both teams fired back and fourth in the final quarter with the Steelers scoring a touchdown under the final minute mark. All seemed to point to a Steelers win or at least an overtime game with a Ravens field goal. Until my goat Chris Boswell missed the XP. Ravens go marching down the field and get into field goal range of their rookie kicker Tyler Loop. I thought the game was over, until Tyler Loop decided to shank the kick wide right.
Pittsburgh Gawn to da Superbowl!!

NFL Playoff Prediction

With the NFL Playoffs starting this weekend I think it is only right for you all to hear the correct playoff prediction knowing that I have obtained the script. This year's playoffs are going to be the most unpredictable in the last few years. Kansas City is out, Cincinnati is out, and Baltimore is out. This leaves the Superbowl wide open for anyone to take. Philly is also ass and super injured on defense. I think we will see a new Superbowl winner almost guaranteed. With that being said, I think the big time experienced players will step up in the AFC. I am predicting the matchup of the Buffalo Bills against the Denver Broncos in the AFC Championship, with Buffalo coming out on top. For the NFC I believe that Seattle’s bye week will go a long way. I see the Seahawks beating the 49ers in the NFC Championship. This leaves a Buffalo vs Seattle Superbowl. I truly believe the Seattle defense with a pretty good offense will end up overcoming the Bills. Leaving your Super Bowl 60 winners the Seattle Seahawks, you’re welcome for the insider info in advance.

Game of the Week: Bears vs. Packers

Chicago Tribune
This weekend of football can’t be talked about without leading with the best rivalry in all of sports. The Packers head to Chicago for the second time in three weeks, looking for a different result, as they clash Saturday night under the lights. And I genuinely could not be more excited for this matchup. Rumor has it we might even get a snow game, which would make Soldier Field an absolute war zone. Cold, windy, chaotic — perfect conditions for the Iceman himself, Caleb Williams. Prime-time. Frozen tundra energy. Bear down.

Maduro 🤝 Nike

Marketing-Interactive
I’m sure everyone has seen it by now, but the photo of Nicolás Maduro sitting in U.S. custody while casually rocking a Nike Tech sweatsuit has officially broken the internet. The image sparked instant virality, turning what is essentially a $200 athleisure jumpsuit into a piece of geopolitical memorabilia. As of January 5th, that exact Nike Tech style is sold out in multiple sizes on Nike’s U.S.

Stocks

Market Recap:
$DDNK moved higher on strong late-week catalysts, highlighted by playoff-tailgating content, an upcoming “It’s Chicago” hoodie drop, and a major brand validation moment as Jonah Jackson wore a Daydrink hat, later posted by the Bears’ official Instagram. With Bears–Packers filming and a potential playoff win ahead, investor sentiment turned decisively bullish.y to softer view counts, resulting in a controlled correction rather than a sharp selloff.
Analyst Outlook:
Momentum building.
Catalysts stacked.
If the Bears win, analysts expect meaningful upside next update.

Something Positive: Jonah Jackson Wears a Daydrink Hat

This past Sunday, Jonah Jackson — Chicago Bears guard — walked into Soldier Field with what reporters are calling “the pregame get-up of the year.”
Just kidding — absolutely no one said that besides us. BUT shoutout to the big man for repping the brand.
