Dude of the Week: Jordan Walker
This week, we were able to see something that all sports fans enjoy: Philadelphia fans losing.
On Monday, Jordan Walker crushed what would have been an all-time Philly moment. In the final round of the Home Run Derby, Walker had just one swing left. He was down three home runs for the tie and four for the win. Kyle Schwarber, who plays for the Phillies, was leading the Derby at home with 11 home runs. With his back against the wall, Walker rattled off four straight home runs to take home the dub.
Jordan Walker was not one of the favorites to win the Derby either. He was actually +650 to win. So we got an underdog victory, which in my book is always a win for everybody. The best part about all of this is Walker’s salary compared to his winnings. This year, the St. Louis Cardinals outfielder is making $799,400, and with his win in the Derby, Walker just picked up a $1 million check. He made more money in one night than he will make all season.
He is also now 1-for-1 in Home Run Derby appearances and wins. Just an incredible story. Congrats to this week’s Dude of the Week, Jordan Walker.
SUCK IT PHILLY.
Conor Mcgregor Needs To Retire
Conor McGregor spent five years building up his comeback like it was going to be the greatest sequel in UFC history, only for the whole thing to end in about a minute. He walked into the arena with enough confidence to fill the entire T-Mobile Arena, threw a kick, and somehow his knee clocked out before Max Holloway did. Fans spent months arguing over who would win, paid for the pay-per-view, grabbed snacks, sat down, and the fight was basically over before anyone finished opening the chips.
Then, in classic McGregor fashion, he somehow managed to spend more time arguing afterward that the result should be a no contest than he actually spent fighting. At this point, his press conferences have more rounds than his recent fights, and his walk to the Octagon lasts longer than the main event itself.
If confidence won championships, he'd still be undefeated—but unfortunately for him, the scoreboard only counts what happens after the cage door closes.

Tough Watch of the Week - Savannah Bananas
This is up there with the worst video I've watched in 2026. I genuinely don't understand who watches—or is entertained by—the Savannah Bananas. It gives off major theater-kid vibes but at that point, wouldn't they rather just be watching Broadway musicals or some shit? How are they selling out stadiums?!
Where did this audience come from, and who are these people?

Cavs Got a Demon
The NBA Summer League is now in full effect, and we get to see some of the top picks in the draft show out. Summer League is always interesting to me because it’s the first look at NBA basketball for these young guys. Some dominate right away, while others take a second to get comfortable. But one thing is for sure after watching three games: THE CLEVELAND CAVALIERS GOT A DEMON IN MELEEK THOMAS.
Through three games, the Cavs’ second-round draft pick is averaging 28 points, 4 assists, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals per game. The Cavs even traded down and were still able to get Meleek. Coming into the draft, he was basically framed as either a bust or a home run. If you watched him in college, you knew he could score the ball well when he was on, but when he was off, he was really off.
Meleek has been a beast since his OTE days and, like I said, was a killer in college. Coach Calipari was on the broadcast for the Cavs game, and we got to hear a little inside perspective from a guy who watched Meleek all year. Let’s hope Kenny Atkinson utilizes Meleek and his skills better than he has Proctor. With this production, I do not see Thomas going into the season as a bench-only player they will simply let grow.
I believe he can come into the season and make a real impact if given the freedom to play his game. The Cavs were desperate for another scorer in the playoffs, with Harden not really being able to score much and leaving Donovan to carry most of the perimeter scoring load. The Cavs have a relatively young team if you take out Harden, so this addition fits perfectly. Meleek has a chip on his shoulder from dropping to the second round, and I can’t wait to see what he is able to do in Cleveland at the start of the year.

Is Golf Growing Too Fast ?
Nowadays on the internet it's tough to believe anything you see. Ai this, Ai that, but ladies and gentlemen, this one is somehow real:
Imagine playing a quick 9 with your buddy and midway through the round a bear comes out of nowhere and does pretty much whatever he can to hijack your clubs off the back of your cart. The only reasonable answer for this one is karma. This guy had to have done something bad to deserve this kind of treatment from Mr. Black Bear.
The most absurd part about this all is the guys filming. If I see a bear within 300 yards of me, I’m staying as far away as humanly possible. These guys are up and close filming, laughing, and making a joke out of the whole thing.
Overall the most absurd video i’ve seen this week. It raises the question, is golf growing too fast?

Open Championship: Quick Weekend Preview
Where:
The 154th Open Championship is being played at Royal Birkdale Golf Club in Southport, England, one of the most iconic links courses in the Open rotation. This is Birkdale's first Open since 2017. (Tommy Fleetwoods Home Course)
Course Conditions:
This year's storyline is the weather. England has experienced an unusually dry summer, leaving Royal Birkdale brown, firm, and very fast.
Surprisingly enough Bryson DeChambeau went out this morning and went low, heading into the clubhouse with a round of 67.
