Dude of the Week: Josh McDaniels

This is going to surprise people maybe more than anyone else who has been nominated for this prestigious award in the past. He was an absolute dick as a Head Coach but you cannot deny his talent as an OC. This week's Dude of the Week is Josh McDaniels. Dude has won 10 Super Bowls. That means he has coached in about 16% of all Superbowls ever played. That is fucking insane. Yeah he had a dumpster fire of a head coaching run but dude can run an offense like the military. McDaniels is coaching this Sunday in what could be his 7th Super Bowl win. I do not care if you like him or not, you cannot deny he is one of the best coordinators of all time. Also before you all start saying, “well he had Brady”. I don’t care if he had the Lord and Savior himself under center, winning 6 Super Bowls is insane. He is also an Ohio boy so I will always show bias towards a fellow Ohian.

Roster Roulette: Evaluating the Trade Deadline

ESPN
The time of the year is upon us, NBA Trade Deadline. This year is especially wild with maybe the biggest name in recent years wanting out of his current situation, Giannis Antetokounmpo. But who really knows if Milwaukee will trade Giannis this year. We always get someone big that wants a trade and then it never happens. We have seen some pretty big moves though already. Jaren Jackson gets traded to the Jazz who have basically the tallest team ever assembled. Jared McCain just got traded to OKC which is also stupid. Someone needs to take their picks away IMMEDIATELY. AD gets traded to the Wizard. My most head scratching trade though has to be Harden to Cleveland for Darius Garland. As a Cleveland fan I want to be excited with Harden averaging 25 pts per game, but I think everyone in Cleveland is a DG fan at heart. We will see how these moves work out for the hopeful teams who made moves in this trade deadline. Also again if anyone wants a player off their team, just buy me their jersey and they will be traded within the year. I bought a Darius Garland Cavs jersey last year…

Mckenna Dummies a Kid at Penn State Bar

Fox News
Penn State forward Gavin McKenna, who will undoubtedly be the 2026 NHL first overall pick, was charged with felony aggravated assault on Wednesday morning in State College, Pennsylvania. Although this sounds AWFUL, let’s dig a little deeper into this story.
Word on the street is that some fool was dumb enough to start chirping at McKenna. He wasn’t just chirping either — bystanders claim the kid called the young star’s mom a “whore.”
McKenna didn’t take kindly to that and, having played hockey his entire life, dummied the kid with one punch. Reports state the punch broke the kid’s jaw in three places and required corrective surgery. Moral of the story: you mess with the bull, you get the horns.
All in all, it sounds like a pretty shitty situation for everyone involved. We obviously hope the kid is okay, and, granted all this information is true, hope McKenna doesn’t face overly harsh consequences.

Tate McRae Endorses USA

Tate McRae, who was born and raised in Alberta, Canada, recently appeared in an NBC Olympics ad endorsing Team USA. That’s a bold look, considering Canada’s long-standing dominance in the Winter Olympics especially in the early 2000s. You’d think a proud Canadian would be all about the red-and-white maple leaf—but not this time. Instead, McRae is backing the stars and stripes, and honestly, that feels like a small but symbolic win for the United States as we head into the Olympics. She’s been seen with Jack Hughes over the past few months, so you can’t help but think he had some part in this. Not to mention, if the 4 Nations Face-Off was any indication of how fun international competition can get, buckle up—because the Olympics are going to be a blast.

Game of the Week: The Super Bowl

It would be a disservice not to highlight the big game coming up this Sunday. I’m genuinely excited about this matchup, and I think we’re in for a close one. With Mike Vrabel, the ultimate leader of men, paired with a Seahawks roster that’s impressive from top to bottom, this feels like a recipe for a really entertaining Sunday night.
I expect this to be a one-possession game, but I think Seattle squeaks it out in the end. I do think this game goes under, as this matchup has all the makings of a grind-it-out defensive battle. If the Patriots can get consistent pressure on Sam Darnold, they could make things very interesting.
That said, the Seahawks defense is stout, and I wouldn’t be surprised if sophomore quarterback Drake Maye struggles mightily.
Final score prediction: Seahawks 20, Patriots 17.

Snubbed in Canton

This article is going to be short and bitter. Bill Belichick just got denied of becoming a first ballot Hall of Famer. I mean this is just criminal what is happening in Canton. Bill Belichick has 8 Super Bowl rings, 6 as a head coach and 2 as a coordinator. Something has to be done to reverse this because this discredits all the NFL and Hall of Fame stand for. If Bill Belichick is not a first ballot Hall of Famer then who really qualifies for the honor? I mean he might be the most sure locked coach of all time to go in on the first try and he just got denied because Bill Polian, a man people don’t really even know or care about says BB should not get in??? Strip away the gold jacket and place it on Bill's back immediately. I hate the Patriots as much as anyone for what they did to the AFC, but this is just not right at all. They also have come out and said this week that Robert Kraft will not be a first ballot, which is equally as ridiculous. Now enjoy this picture of Bill Polian as the clown he is.

Burns Lock of the Week: Seattle

Seattle. Seattle. Seattle. Last week I said hey, Volk is going to kick Lopes ass, get on it while you can and parlay it with Seahawks ML. That happened, now I have the Seahawks ML at +145. I don’t like the spread in this game because I think it can go multiple ways, but add whatever legs you have to, add whatever weird college basketball ML you have to, GET SEATTLE AT EVEN/PLUS MONEY!

Stocks

Market Recap:
Quieter week on paper, but momentum is shifting. Sales dipped and overall reach pulled back slightly, though Instagram follower growth remained steady. TikTok growth continued despite lower viewership, and YouTube held flat. More importantly, content execution improved and confidence rebounded heading into a high-visibility stretch.
Analyst Outlook:
Bullish near-term.
Upcoming YouTube drops, Super Bowl content, and on-the-ground coverage create a strong catalyst window. If execution matches the opportunity, DDNK could see renewed upside quickly.
