Dude of the Week: Lebron James

Oh Lebron where do I even start? 41 years old playing better than kids half your age. Reverse dunks, banging threes, and taking a 2-0 lead on a talented but dysfunctional Houston team. I mean we have never seen anything like this before. MJ was retired at 40 after unsuccessfully making the Wizards a competitive team. At age 41 Lebron is averaging 23 pts and 10 assists in two games. I don’t care about the glaze allegations after writing this.
LeBron is doing something that will go down in history if they win this series versus the Rockets. No Luka or Austin Reaves, just a team filled with off the bench players and a few solid guys. This is not as bad of a team as Lebron had in 2007 which he took to the Finals. But his number 2 man right now is the team's shooter Luke Kennard. Normally Luke Kennard would probably not be used as much, he has been very good since joining the Lakers but he is not a typical second option. Lebron also had Marcus Smart playing like Kyrie in Game 2. There is nothing more to be said, he is the GOAT.
If the Lakers can continue this run and get past the Rockets then they may have the chance to get Luka back. Reaves is also working to get back into this series by Game 5 or 6 if it gets there. A 41 year old LeBron championship would rock the NBA world and shake history forever. Congrats to the King on this week's Dude of the Week. P.S. Chuck is going to hate this selection.

Golf is Back

Now for some Americans golf never went away, but for us Mid-Westers it seems as though weather has finally changed into the season of golf. The game has grown so much since the pandemic. Some of the growth has been good and some has been bad. I remember the days you used to be able to walk out to any course and get a tee time within an hour of parking your car.
On the other hand, a lot of golf courses went out of business right before. So the game has evolved quite a bit and although we see slower rounds and packed courses, we also have a whole new generation of players who appreciate the game. There is obviously no doubt that golf is the most recreational sport played in the US. but to a lot of Americans there is nothing better than that first tee feeling in the morning on a Saturday. An emotionally polarizing game that never shows up the same from when you last teed it off.
Cold beers and white ball is something that goes so well together it's almost like they were created in the same place. Let's have a year on the links.

NHL Playoffs: A Free-For-All
So far, the NHL Playoffs have been an absolute bloodbath, and I am loving every single second of it. Player comes within 5 feet of the goalie? Sure, go ahead and beat the living shit out of him. That’s baseball.
The best part about all of this is the refs almost never dish out penalties. Even if they do, it’s usually just 2 minutes for two guys, then they let the boys keep playing. On the rare occasion, you’ll see 5 guys tossed in the box at once, which, in all reality, is still entertaining as hell. Ladies and gentlemen, this is playoff hockey and we’re just getting started.

Men, You've Been Misinformed
Men's skin is about 25% thicker than women's, but thicker skin doesn't mean better aging. It means delayed collapse. For years, your skin looks resilient. Then collagen declines, and when it does, it drops hard: deeper wrinkles, heavier under-eye bags, more dark spots showing up all at once.
Most men were never taught to get ahead of this. Women were. And by the time the signs show up, you're playing catch-up.
Particle Face Cream was built precisely for this. One 6-in-1 formula engineered for men's skin — reduces eye bags, dark spots, and wrinkles, restores firmness, hydrates deeply, and revives dull tone. No complicated routine. Over 1,000,000 men already use it. Try it risk-free with a 30-day money-back guarantee.
Mike Vrabel Into Counseling
It has been reported that Mike Vrabel will miss Day 3 of the NFL Draft as he undergoes counseling with his family following the recent events. You’ve gotta respect a guy for trying to fix his mistakes—but missing a day of the NFL Draft? Could they not have found a different day to schedule this on ?

MLB Needs a Rule Change
Logan Gilbert was on the mound for the Mariners and somehow snagged a line drive that literally slipped through his jersey hole and stayed tucked inside. And for some reason, MLB rules gave the batter first base on that? Ended up loading the bases.
If you’re able to pull this off with your jersey like that, it should be an automatic out. No debates, no rulebook deep dive—just tip your cap and head back to the dugout.
