Dude of the Week: Jo Adell

As mentioned before, baseball is back. We have seen some pretty great performances so far this season. Guardians rookie Chase DeLauter, Pirates Konnor Griffin, and White Sox’s Munetaka Murakami. But even though they are all having a great start, one player had an absolutely insane game on the diamond. On Sunday night Angel’s outfielder Jo Adell completed a robbery 3 times. Adell was in right field against the Mariners. In the first he robbed a homerun, in the 8th he robbed another one and then in the top of the 9th he robbed his 3rd homerun of the game. Absolutely insane defensive performance. The most home runs robbed in a single game by a single player. From what I could find, no single player has even robbed 2 homeruns in a game before. Adell did it three times…. The Angels went on to win the game 1-0. Without Adell they lose 3-1. His last robbery ended with him standing in the seats with the fans. The picture is absolute gold. The greatest heist in MLB history.

Clemson Mayo Maniac

Sometimes there’s things that just make you say “Hell yeah” and this video is one of them. The video shows a Clemson Tigers fan absolutely mowing down a tub of mayonnaise. When I say mowing I mean mowing, this guy was shoveling mayo down his gullet BUT there are rumors that this so-called mayo maniac filled up the jar with pudding instead. Regardless if it was mayo or pudding, a dude shoveling food in his face aggressively at a sporting event is just one of those things that makes you say “Hell yeah”

Hello Friends

“Hello Friends”, the words we all dream of hearing when the snow starts to melt and the grass turns green. An opening that can only be said by the voice of the Master’s himself, Jim Nantz. The Master’s has been a staple of our society for almost 100 years. The 77th green jacket will be put on the back of this year's winner in less than a week. The big question is who will Rory McIlroy be putting it on??

Don’t you worry, I am 4/4 on the last four Master’s winners since gambling has been legal. Nailed it with Scottie year one, Rahm year two, Scottie again year 3, and Rory last year. I should be making you all pay for this advice but if you read this I will make you rich. I pick 4 winners every year. Bet what you want on these winners, but I would take all 4 of these guys to outright win.

  • Scottie Scheffler

  • Bryson DeChambeau

  • Matt Fitzpatrick

  • Tommy Fleetwood

People love to argue “what do the statistics say?”. That is all bs. Remember these guys are playing at a place that not only is extremely difficult, but also is the biggest tournament of the year. The most pressure of any event when it comes to the final stretch. We want guys with ice in their veins and who have been there before. Scottie has 2, Bryson won the US Open, Fitz won the US Open, and Fleetwood is solely based off of vibes. I always look for someone who has won this year so if you want to follow then just bet Scottie and Fitz. You can pay me back later.

Michigan Hangs the Banner

Congratulations to the Michigan Wolverines men's basketball — your 2026 national champions, and a thoroughly deserving one. This was a team that asserted itself as a dominant force throughout the season, combining depth, pace, and versatility, and ultimately finding another gear when it mattered most in March.

UConn put up a respectable fight, showing flashes of resilience and toughness, but in the end, they were simply outmatched by a more complete and cohesive opponent. Even with Yaxel Lendeborg battling through injury and clearly not at full strength.

Still, Michigan’s depth and execution proved overwhelming. Contributions came from all over the roster, and their ability to control tempo and capitalize on key moments made the difference. Elliot Cadeau, in particular, delivered a masterful Final Four performance, showcasing elite playmaking and composure on the biggest stage.

In the end, this championship run felt less like a surprise and more like the culmination of a season-long statement. Michigan didn’t just win the title — they validated their status as the best team in the country, and maybe the best team this century.
